Saskatoon Broadway Bridge, 1969, by Fritz Stehwien - Greeting or Art Card (blank inside)
This greeting card features one of Fritz Stehwien's favourite motifs; a view from the east bank of the South Saskatchewan River, looking down the Broadway Bridge to the city's downtown core. The image illustrates the very reason Saskatoon is known as the 'City of Bridges'. The original work featured on this card was created in pen and ink, perfectly capturing the feel of this scenic city's skyline. Painted in 1969, it also conveys that sense of history and timelessness imbued in the Canadian prairies.
The card itself is printed locally on quality textured card stock. It measures 7.25" x 5.25", with the inside left blank for your own message to be written. The card and accompanying envelope are contained in a plastic slip for protection.
